Reviews
My recent visit to Osteria Delle Aie was an absolute delight, offering a cozy and inviting atmosphere that made the dining experience truly special. The fixed multi-course menu is a brilliant concept, providing a variety of dishes to suit all preferences, including well-thought-out vegetarian options. Each course was fresh, flavorful, and presented with excellence, showcasing the best of regional cuisine.
The highlight of Osteria Delle Aie, however, is their extraordinary approach to wine service. Serving wine by the glass from magnums, which are passed from table to table, allows guests to taste and choose according to their liking – an innovative idea that is both fun and inclusive, especially as it's included in the menu price. The warm hospitality and professional service further elevate the experience, making me feel welcomed and well cared for. I highly recommend Osteria Delle Aie to anyone seeking a memorable dining experience in a friendly and charming setting.
Very lively restaurant with a fast, characterful and professional staff. The restaurant is always crowded and positively noisy with laughing, enjoying people. Regional cuisine, rustic and full of flavour, and all of it expertly prepared. A huge selection of wines too ... mostly served from magnum bottles, so always a chance to try something new. A great, colourful and warmly decorated place to visit, best with lots of friends.
Extremely pleasant experience, great food, fantastic flavors, a must return, the wines all paired with excellent food, an amazing restaurant.
Fixed menu with different items to chose from. Only wine by the glass served from magnum and you can choose and taste what you like as bottles go from table to table, which is included in the price of the menu. Very nice service with great staff and fresh and excellent food from the region.
We celebrated the birthday.. it was great.. food, service etc. The antipasti just flow.. and for each course they present the plates and ask what the guest likes.. so no menu card.. just always fresh plates based on the season. The other specialty are the Magnum bottles.. you start with sparkling or white and continue with red.. they change if you want to switch...or taste another one.
Required to book well ahead the table
This must have been my 4th or 5th dinner over the past two years at this fantastic place.
Very interesting setting in a cosy restaurant with very friendly staff. There are a few options per course, and you do not know before arriving what you will be on the menu. Promise, it is all seasonal food and super delicious! Wine is served in Magnums, which are handed around at the tables. So you can chose or get a recommendation by the owner on what to drink with your next course. To give you a perspective, all included for max EUR 60,- per person.
I love this place and its atmosphere and will always return for an exciting dinner.
Grazie!!!
PS: one thing, ensure to make a reservation at least 2 days in advance, as it is always fully booked.
To start on the positive side: fast service, the crew really runs around a lot trying to keep everybody happy. So there is no dedicated waiter per table. Rather, each seems to have their own specialty: wine, menu explanation, gathering/serving dishes, etc. I happen to notice the sign at the entrance where it said that there is a fixed price depending on the amount and type of dishes (primo, desert = xx, primo, secundi = yy etc). No one actually explains that though. Also there is no menu, but no worries, there is enough choice. Now, the biggest thing they fail to mention: all drinks are included. It may have been written somewhere but we missed it.. They go to great lenghts in offering you all kinds of wine, especially the girl with the head-tattoo :)
Probably the best place to eat in Piemonte!
This is not a Michelin styled kitchen, but genuine, honest and very, very good.
Wine is good and plenty.
Price is absolutely fair compared to quality and quantity (4 people just under 200€)
This is the kind of place I would recommend you take a detour to visit. (Make sure you don't need to drive after the dinner, book a room nearby or a taxi)
